Larry Hyde & Becky Ferranti
Our First Horses
Success Stories
Larry Hyde and Becky Ferranti are early retirees who for five years lived in their RV and volunteered for the US Forest Service and State parks. In the winter of 2003 they settled down in Silver City New Mexico due to Becky's need for back surgery. Larry renovated, landscaped and turned a plain single wide, 2½ acre property into a beautiful, peaceful haven complete with rock gardens, paths, an adobe stucco house, barn and corrals. |
By January 2004 we had our first horse Joe, a fifteen year old Quarter Horse gelding from Moon Ranch. He was bomb-proof and we got two goats, Annabelle and Star. Due to Becky's chronic back problems she was unable to ride horses any more, so they decided to find a carriage horse for her. During her search, Becky came across an article on PMU Mares. She found an adoption Website and adopted their first two PMU Mares. |
