SUCCESS STORIES

Mother & Buckboard
Getting to NOSE each other. They are a perfect match. I can't thank you enough for what you have done for this family. I was thinking it might take a few more days before he would settle down, BUT I was wrong.
He is a sweetheart and Mother and he get along beautifully. You would think Mother was a child again. You two save more than HORSES, you know that. You've given both my mother and me reasons to enjoy life and for that I will FOREVER be in your debt. Continue to have safe journeys. Mother was on her new horse again Wednesday and loving every minute. This time she was more relaxed than ever, they are the perfect match! Can't thank you enough for helping me put added years on the life of a once very sad woman.

Scooby Doo
A four year old pony that was adopted in January 2007 by Karen in CT. Here is a picture of SCOOBY DOO jumping 2'3" at a show last weekend. We really love him. I think I need to keep him for Alex.

Koa, Hana and Trinity in Lakeside, CA
Hana loves her halter (she thinks it's jewelry) but doesn't like to be led more than a few steps at a time. Koa has only had the halter on for the farrier (along with sedatives from the vet) but he has made milestones just this past week in deciding that it's pretty cool to be rubbed and brushed afterall. Adrienne works with Trinity a lot and she's good with the halter too. While we were waiting for our babies to arrive, we started to hear horror stories about how wild these PMU foals are, and unpredictable, etc. etc. After almost two months, I'd like to tell those people just to shut the heck up. Our experience couldn't be going better. The worst thing that happens here is that they are all incredible snoops - they like to take my tools, grab the grooming bag and shake it, and try to tip over the wheelbarrow. Koa's started nipping the girls (Hana and Trinity) and now they've all started trying to take nips at us. It's all in good fun, but we're trying to be pretty firm in explaining that we don't find it all that funny. It's hard not to laugh. I would recommend PMU foal adoptions to anyone who has the time and love to give.
Rain
I just wanted to give you an update on my beautiful girl, Rain, who I took home in October of 2006. She turned 2 in April and she is doing amazing. I took her to another Peter Campbell clinic the first weekend of June. It was great, we even had our first ride there. All went well and she did not buck me off! She is just such a doll, she loves everybody and would love to be near you constantly. Her new favorite thing is the "lick its" so we have them tied all over the fence now, she loves all the flavors, I like the cherry one because it smells so good! She is growing like a weed and almost as big as her pasture mate (he is a TB) - can't thank you enough for my girl.
Centurion
This 3 year old draft/paint stallion was adopted in June 2007 by Madelene in Mexico.
Baby
I wanted to add Baby to your Success Stories. She is sweet, very gentle and quick to learn. As you can see she is beautiful as well. Recently I took my new granddaughter out to visit the horses and Baby came galloping over from the other end of the yard just to see her. Thanks for all of your hard work. Martha.
